Kiss&Tell ep 12.
Impressions are like shadows. They disappear when a strong light comes on.
Nina is an impressionist.
At first, she was forming loyalty for her home based boyfriend while her lashes were blinking at Miracle. It wasn’t loyalty, it was two-timing. That is the problem of today’s relationship. The logic of the smart guy or babe is wrapped around the fact that they don’t want to put all their eggs in one basket so as to have something to fall back on, if one side doesn’t work.
This idea like many profundities of the world is based upon fear. And fear is the opposite of true love. So the foundation of today’s relationship is founded on an inherent fear that it might collapse hence the need for option B.
Tell me, why will it last?
Answer it in your mind. let us not deviate.
I saw a post with this picture of hers below that read “Describe her in one word.” And someone said “Fresh.” Me I concur. But Nina is unassuming. She is the pretty protagonist. There’s a placard in that wide grin on her face that says; “please protect me. Will you?”
What actually brought about this post was an argument I had with my friend and colleague Genevieve Nosike-Nkwocha. She disagreed with my earlier choice of Cee C, preferring Nina. She said BB Naija is about being all fun and nice. She lie. BB Naija is a reality show and nobody is reality like Cee C.
I read about her crying all by herself in the laundry corner and a hot tear welled up in the corner of my eye but I wouldn’t let it fall. There are nights that tore my heart with gut wrenching sobs for the loss of someone dear to me. Cee C evokes such emotion. She’s the evil villain.
I am not in support of bad attitude like they say she has. Author Dave Martins rightly said, ” people cannot grow beyond the limitations of their character.” But the term “bad attitude” is subjective. One attitude can get you past a rainy day and the same attitude, your demise on a sunny day. It all depends on the situation.
Ceec C is contagious. Nina is fresh and blank. Alex is intentional. Ah! Alex. I like the green on her head. I have a feeling she’s cooking something. One of these days I’ll stop by and check her pot. I really don’t care who wins now. Nelson Mandela once said “As we are liberated from our fears, our presence automatically liberates others.” They have made a statement by their presence on that stage. That’s all that matters.
