SOMEDAY YOU WILL GET THERE. Pt 2

There’s a time and season for everything. A time to sow and a time to reap. A time to work and a time to rest.  A reason and purpose for every living thing. ‘’Before you were formed in your mother’s womb I knew you and have ordained you…..’’ do you remember whose words are those? if you don’t remember, ask your priest. Well let me save the day here but I’m not your priest. Those were words from the holy book by divinity from which all things that be came to be. The creation that was not created. The beginning whose beginning is not known. The all knowing, all present all powerful God.

Someday you will arrive at that purpose he designed. Forget past mistakes, forget past failures, take the lessons and focus on what you are going to do from now on. If you can’t do what you can where you are, you can still do what you can where you are with what you have. Sometimes the best you can do is not think, not worry, not obsess, just breathe and have faith that everything will work out fine. Worrying does not empty tomorrow of its troubles, it empties today of its strength. While we have ambitions and pursue them, it is by God’s ultimate will and purpose that they come to be at the right time. Be grateful, be smart, be true, be humble, be prayerful and I add for you, be happy. All of us have problems. We face them every day. Just do the best you can but be sure it’s your very best, and then leave the rest in the hand of God. ‘’Every day I strive to at least recognise my shortcomings, and the things I have to do, I do to become the best person I can possibly be’’ Says Alexander O’neil. Never stop doing your best because someone does not give you the credit you deserve, never settle, always strive to learn more, do more and be more.

Someday you will get there. Don’t compare yourself to others. Don’t compare your beginning to someone else’s middle. A healthy sense of self esteem and a constructive evaluation with respect to yourself image (your immediate obtainable) and yourself ideal (your preferred future) is important for performing at your very best. Just identify the season and act accordingly. Work at the season to work and wait at the season to rest. Don’t rest while you ought to work. Don’t list efforts and bring excuses while you ought to bring results to the table. You may not see it today or tomorrow, but you will look back in a  few years and be absolutely perplexed by how every little thing added up and brought you somewhere wonderful or where you always wanted to be. You will be grateful that things didn’t work out the way you once wanted them to. Be with who makes you smile. Laugh as much as you breathe. Love as long as you live. Spend within your limit and above all, Allow God to order your steps aright. Someday you will get there. To the place you’ve always wanted to be.
